The MBD non-ferrous band saw from Warsaw Machinery is designed to be used in industrial metalworking applications. The bandsaw’s frame is fabricated from arc welded steel and machined in one set up. Equipped with dust collection spout, cast iron main work table and auxiliary work table, it is perfect of use in non-ferrous foundry applications.

MBD® Model 3620NFFS Non-Ferrous Foundry Bandsaw

The MBD Model 3620NFFS
Non-Ferrous Foundry Bandsaw is a specially equipped version of the
standard Model 3620 Bandsaw, designed to be used in various non-ferrous foundry applications. The machine frame is fabricated from arc welded structural steel and all mounting surfaces are machined in one set up, assuring proper mechanical alignment.

The saw has a standard 7½ hp TEFC main motor and multi v-belt motor-to-hub drive. Standard saw band speed is 4,700 ft./min. for carbide-tipped bandsaw blades, other blade speeds are available. The bandsaw is also equipped with a 6" diameter dust collection spout. MBD 36" cast aluminum wheels are standard and come with "E-Z" change rubber and steel tires.

This model is equipped with a 36"×37" cast iron main worktable and a 16"×19" auxiliary worktable.

The auxiliary worktable is between the main table and the machine column. The Model 3620NFFS Bandsaw also has two-wheel automatic brakes, which can stop the wheels in approximately 1½ seconds. The upper and lower wheel housing doors have interlocks to prevent the bandsaw from starting if either door is open.
