Warsaw Machinery’s MBD automated block cutting band saw efficiently saws straight edge parts from blocks or stacks of rigid materials. The automatic model 3700 block cutting bandsaw has a cutting feed rate from 50 -600 in/min. This high feed rate allows for a large number of parts – from ½” to 20” high.

MBD® Model 3700 Automatic Indexing Block Cutting BandsawEfficiently saws straight edge parts from blocks or stacks of rigid materials. The MBD Automatic Indexing Block Cutting Bandsaw automatically saws parts from plastic, wood, corrugate kraft paper, composites and similar material.

Model 3700 Bandsaw has a cutting feed rate that is set by the operator at the control panel and is infinitely variable from 50 to 600 in/min. This high feed rate allows for a large number of parts to be produced in a short amount of time. Standard blade speed is 8,500 ft/min and a 15 HP V-belt drive is standard, but 20 and 25 HP are available.

The machine’s clamp beam is adjustable to allow for material from ½” to 20” high. A programmable logic controller regulates the machine functions during operation. A regenerative DC motor controller provides index positioning accuracy to within ±0.10” with repeatability to ±.005; an optional servo motor controller provides positioning to within ±.002” and repeatability at ±.001.”
