MBD® Model 4000 CNC Automatic Bandsawing System

MBD® Model 4000 CNC Automatic Bandsawing SystemProvides a complete automated bandsawing process and replaces several manual bandsaws, due to the machine's stacked cutting capacities. The MBD CNC Automatic Bandsawing System saws block or panel materials into any size, shape, or number of component parts by direct computer numeric control. The automated process allows for greater yield, increased productivity, improved part accuracy and reduction of finished parts inventory.

The servo controlled X-Y table steers stacked material through the servo driven rotating bandsaw blade. This system eliminates the need for manual marking and virtually eliminates set-up.

The Model 4000 has a material weight capacity of 2,200 pounds. The maximum material size is 96" long by 60" wide by 14" thick. The machine uses a PC-based CNC controller to coordinate the 3-axis servo drive system in executing G-Code programs. It accommodates bandsaw blades from 3/8" to 3/4" wide and has 36" diameter bandsaw wheels.
