Vertical Industrial Bandsaw

MBD® Model 3620Used in various industries to bandsaw curved or straight cuts in wood, plastic and other similar materials. The MBD Vertical Bandsaw reliably cuts under severe operating conditions and is good for cuts needing to remove minimum material.

It has a fabricated structural steel frame with 36” band wheels and a 20” under guide capacity. A precision ground cast iron table is heavily ribbed and balanced for easy tilting. The blade guide has cast aluminum housing, two pairs of tool steel jaws and a sealed ball bearing guide roller. A non-removable “swing away” blade guard is part of the guide post assembly.

The machine is available with fixed or variable band speeds from 200 ft/min. to 15,000 ft/min. Motors are available with 7½ to 25 HP, the standard V-belt drive provides blade speeds from 4,000 to 15,000 and numerous band drive and motor control options are available.
